Introducing Health Insurance Agent Patty Harmon Hello, I’m Patty Harmon, and I’ve been with Insure It Forward since 2020. My background in terms of work is mainly in human resources, payroll, and administration work.

I am the face that greets people just inside the door of Insure It Forward, ready to help, ready to serve. I get to work with a great team that is intent on helping people with their insurance needs and being proactive in making a difference in our community.

There are times that people may be in a bind or frantic about a particular health insurance issue, and I am there to help guide them through to one of our insurance team members. For me, it’s about more than a check; the impact I get to have on people and their health insurance is so worth it!

I grew up in a small town called Dale, Oklahoma, I currently live in Shawnee, and my journey of faith - like many - has had its shares of mountains and valleys. I was married twice and widowed twice before meeting my husband, to whom I am married now. He was an elementary classmate, and we reconnected at a class reunion. He called me and said he felt God was leading us back together. After much prayer on behalf of both of us, we engaged quickly to be married. We got married at the Hoover Dam, and right as we were driving off, the sky shone bright with a triple rainbow. 

 For us, this was a sign from God of a blessed union, one that would be around for the long haul. We’ve been married for three years since.

 I have also experienced cancer, specifically melanoma. It started as a mole and morphed into a potentially life-threatening cancer; at one point, I waited for three weeks to get back the results. They were the longest three weeks of my life! At that time, I stood on the word of God, for I am a child of God. My favorite scriptures are Psalms 46:10 - “Be still and know that I am God,” and Psalms 62:1-2, “Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will never be shaken. My salvation and honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.” I am cancer-free and blessed!

Reading the Bible is a significant part of my daily life; it is a core part of my identity.

I am a mother of two adult children and proud nana of two grandsons and one granddaughter. In the off hours of my schedule, in addition to reading HIS word, I love gardening and sharing time landscape outdoors with my mother-in-law Alta. I love camping and fishing with my family.
